Refuting “The Roman(s) Road

Matt Tillman, et al

Missionaries have found more than one way to missionize the uninformed, and they sometimes use a book in the Christian Little Book of Lies (New Testament) called “Paul’s Epistle to the Romans” to do it. They call it “the Roman Road to Salvation 1.” The pertinent verses missionaries highlight are:

                Romans 3:23
                Romans 6:23a
                Romans 6:23b
                Romans 5:8,
                Romans
10:13
                Romans 10:9,10
                Revelation 3:20a

Let us refute the points they attempt to make, one at a time.

1. Christians Claim: The ROMANS ROAD....is a pathway you can walk.

But should you? No.

2. Christians Claim: It is a group of Bible verses from the book of Romans in the New Testament.

But, the New Testament is a Little Book of Lies―fiction―and should not be believed.

3. Christians Claim: If you walk down this road you will end up understanding how to be saved.

Saved from what? Defining “salvation” would be helpful. Salvation is not rescue from sin, but rescue from a tragedy. One cannot attain “salvation” through any dead-man god, no matter what fantasies are attributed to him. Salvation is rescue from a disastrous situation, not forgiveness from sin.

1 Samuel 2:1..... Hannah rejoices in salvation from barrenness.
1 Samuel 11......
Israel is saved from the Ammonites―National Salvation.
1 Samuel 19:1-6       Salvation from the Palestinians, er, I mean Philistines.
2 Samuel 22:3... Shows a case of individual salvation. David is delivered out of the hand of Saul (vs. 1)

In many of his Psalms, David is either praying for, or rejoicing in, salvation, and in all occasions, there is no mention of salvation from sins.

“Salvation belongs to the Lord.” David describes salvation from troubles, tens of thousands of his enemies. (Psalms 3:9)

“In God is my salvation and my glory...” salvation from a mischievous man (vs. 4); from men who curse and lie (vs. 5); from hypocrites (vs. 5); and from men of low degree (vs. 10). (Psalms 62:8)

In 1 Chronicles 16:35, David is praying for all Israel, “Save us O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us; (from sin? NO!) from the nations, that we may give thanks to thy Holy Name, and glory in thy praise.”

On finding salvation, Shmuel Golding 2 said,

How does a nation or an individual find salvation? Not by might “Woe to them who trust in a mighty army!” (Isaiah 31:1) “There is no king saved by a multitude of hosts, a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety. Behold the eye of the Lord is upon those who fear Him” (Ps 33:16-18) [“Put no trust in princes, in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” [Emphasis added.] Psalm 146:3] “Surely His salvation is near to them who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.” (Ps 85:10). Thus an individual or a nation finds salvation by fearing God more than that from which they need salvation. Salvation is not forgiveness of sins. It is individual or national salvation [rescue] from war, pestilence, enemies, evil people, etc. Psalm 62:1-2 “My soul waits in silence only for God, from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation.”

Only God can forgive sin; and Jesus. was not God. You are probably wondering; how can one know that Jesus was not God? It is really very simple―Jesus claimed to have been resurrected! If he needed resurrecting, he was dead. If he was dead, he was not God. Ergo, Jesus was not God!

4. Christians Claim: We all have sin in our hearts “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

Certainly we have sin in each of ourselves to varying degrees. But for man to be sinless―to approach the glory of God―this was never God’s the intention, nor was it ever possible for a man. Isaiah (64:5) says “And we are all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteousness like filthy rags; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Surely, there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins. (Ecclesiastes 7:20)

Enter not into judgment with Your servant; for no man living is righteous before You. (Psalms 143:2)

These statements confirm that no one is completely righteous and without sin, and that when one does inevitably transgress he becomes “like one who is unclean,” but not actually or permanently so.

This is exactly why God forgives the penitent; why He has given us ways to always return close to Him. Sins can be “erased” through sincere repentance and a firm resolution never to repeat them. The power of repentance is illustrated below:

The sacrifices [acceptable to] God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. (Psalms 51:19)

And Samuel said: “Does the Lord delight as much in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obedience to the voice of the Lord? Behold, obedience is better than any sacrifice, and to comply [is better] than the fat of rams.” (I Samuel 15:22)

Perhaps the House of Judah will hear all the evil I [God] intend to do to them, so that everyone may turn from his evil way and I may forgive their iniquity and sin. (Jeremiah 36:3)

“As I live,” says the Lord, God, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn, turn from your evil ways, for why should you die, …” (Ezekiel 33:11)

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident. (Proverbs 14:16)

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. (Pr 24:16)

To be Just is to rise from stumbling, which is the only way to stumble several times, while to be wicked is to refuse to rise up off the ground. To be righteous is thus defined, not, as some say, as “failing to ever sin,” but as “repenting of sin, correcting them if possible, and doing that which is right,”as seen in Ezekiel 18.

5. Christians Claim: We all were born with sin.

False! That’s so false I almost do not know where to begin! There’s no such thing as the “Original Sin” of Adam and Eve perverting the souls of all mankind.

The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel. Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:1-4)

Besides that, Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, AFTER “the fall of Adam and Eve,” was told by God:

“And the Lord said unto Cain, “Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” (Genesis 4:6-7)

Cain was told that he had the ability to do well, or to do evil. If he does well, he will be rewarded; if not, sin crouches at the door. But, God advised him, he COULD control his evil impulses, if he only would. Therefore,

a.  No sin committed by the father can dirty to soul of the son.
b.  All mankind can overcome sin.
c.  A man CAN and should be righteous.
d.  No sacrifice offered by one man can clear the soul of another (The soul that sinneth, IT shall die) .

6. Christians Claim: We were born under the power of sin’s control.

False! The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (Ezekiel 18:20 and Genesis 4:7)

7. Christians Claim: Admit that you are a sinner.

To what end? According to Ezekiel 18 and again in chapter 33, all you’d have to do is to renounce sin and do what is right, and you are no longer a sinner!

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. (Ezekiel 33:14-16)

8. Christians Claim: “...The wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6:23a)

False! Sins and righteousness are judged according to severity.

For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. (Jeremiah 30:11)

If a man is righteous, still he will not go unpunished for the sins he has failed to repent of, neither will a sinner be punished completely, if he has done acts of good. It’s not cookie-cutter, “one size fits all” punishment. God is a Judge, a Righteous Judge. He is able to separate the sin from the good.

9. Christians Claim: We all face physical death, which is a result of sin.

We all face a physical death, which is the human condition. Nothing the missionary offers can result in immortality, so why do they even try to link physical death with spiritual death?

10. Christians Claim: But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from [g]od, and will last for all eternity.

That is only reserved for only the most wicked, and it is really a mercy to them! Nothing the missionary can say will lessen this “fear” by ordinary people, because Christianity offers only a false god. By what logic can following a dead-man god lessen the likelihood of one offending God?

11. Christians Claim: The Bible teaches that there is a place called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever.

It may be in the Little Book of Lies, but it is not to be found anywhere in the Hebrew Bible, the SOURCE DOCUMENT! It is only a figment of Christian imagination!

12. Christians Claim: Understand that you deserve death for your sin.

Only a Christian would dare to utter such a preposterous statement as that!

“As I live,” says the Lord, God, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn, turn from your evil ways, for why should you die, …” (Ezekiel 33:11 )

13 Christians Claim: “...But the gift of [our g]od is eternal life through jesus. our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)

And what a blatant lie that is! None of the original fool-owers of Jesus lived much passed their one-hundreth birthday, and NONE are still alive today, so there is no “eternal life” in belief in that liar.

14 Christians Claim: Salvation is a free gift from God to you!

And yet what salvation do we need from an imaginary hell, or from sins that we can save ourselves from simply by renouncing them and doing that which is good and lawful?

15 Christians Claim: You can’t earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.

There is the crux of the lie that makes this “plan of salvation” exactly equal to socialism. You can not earn money, you need to receive it from Big Brother. You can not earn salvation from sin; you need to receive it from the dead-man  god by  being offered as a bloody human sacrifice you didn’t offer!

God tells us, through His Torah, that the greatest pleasure we could have is to try to BE LIKE GOD HIMSELF! (We see this given as our example when Abraham was speaking to God and excused himself so that he could attend to some arriving guests.) Also, the reason we are here is to earn our part in the world to come by making our world a better place. Now, the right thing to do should be done simply because it is right, but no good deed goes unrewarded. God’s Plan is that we earn His approval. Whereas Christians think it good that their followers sponge off the bloody human sacrifice of somebody else, or try to use that blood to wash away their sins.  Hot news flash for you, SCOOP: You can’t scrub off filth with filth!

16 Christians Claim: Ask [g]od to forgive you and save you.

Better to repent of your sins, and do that which is right, and let your righteousness save you from sin, and obey God. Then you need not fear the imaginary hell ruled over by the dead-man god, Jesus. In Torah, God lets us know it is entirely up to you. If you do good, you will get good in return.

17 Christians Claim: “[Our false g]od demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners [Kroptatyr] died for us!” (Romans 5:8)

False!  THINK for yourselves! How is it “love,” when a god kills one man for the sins of another? That is injustice, not love! That is not the way of our Creator!

18 Christians Claim: When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin’s penalty.

Finally! This Is Right in that Jesus paid the penalty for HIS OWN SINS! He could not pay for anyone else’s sins. Remember Ezekiel 18 and 33? “…the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

19 Christians Claim: He paid the price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death!

False! A blatant outright lie! I don’t even feel the need to qualify or explain why. Remember Ezekiel 18 and 33? “…the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

20. Christians Claim: The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us, understanding that we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life.

If belief in a dead man was all one needed to “get right with God,” why didn’t God tell that to Moses or to the three million of His chosen people assembled at the foot of Mount Sinai? Why did not God put this in His SOURCE DOCUMENT, the Torah? Or maybe God just forgot to tell the children of Israel and suddenly remembered 1,500 years later. THINK!

21. Christians Claim: He did all this because He loved us and gave Himself for us!

So, now Christianity is trying to say that God did not kill Jesus, but Jesus. killed himself  Which is it? Did God give Jesus  to us for sins, or did Jesus. give himself?  Since Jesus gave himself, why did he cry out “take away this cup from me?”And again Jesus wanted to weasel out of “giving himself” when he screamed, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Come on, read the New Testament and realize that Jesus went kicking and screaming – not giving a gift! But, hey, wasn’t he as God or third of the trinity aware of his job – to die? Well, in that case, it would have been “all in a days work!”

Is this an attempt to equate Jesus, a sinner and a false prophet, with God? If so, it “ain’t gonna work,” since God is not a man, never was, never will be! How can I be so sure? God has said so on many occasions, read the Torah! (Numbers 23:19, Hosea 11:9, I Samuel 15:29) If Christianity means that Jesus was God, are we to accept that that God gave Himself to whom?―Himself? What kind of illogical sickness is this?

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19)

I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. (Hosea 11:9)

“Moreover, the Eternal One of Israel will not lie or change his mind, Is He a mere man that he should change his mind?” (1 Samuel 15:29)

“He is not a mere man like me...” (Job 9:32)

Therefore, Jesus, a man, was not God. Simply put, if A =/= B, then B =/= A.  THINK!

But, there is also ample evidence that Jesus was not the son of God. Any Christian who honestly studied the Old Testament he carries in the front of their bibles would know:

“There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child (Hebrew: “SON”) nor brother.” (Ecclesiastes 4:8)

Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell? (Proverbs 30:4)

To be sure, God DOES have a son, and His son is Israel.  He said so!

And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: (Exodus 4:22-23)

"I fell in love with Israel When he was still a child; And I have called [him] My son Ever since Egypt." (Hosea 11.1)

22. Christians Claim: “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!” Romans 10:13

Call out to God in the name of a dead-man god, Jesus! Surely Christians jest! How can they be serious? How can they fool you? How can the preachers continue to fool their congregations? Only because people do not THINK for themselves, do not ask pertinent questions and do not seek answers.

So, now Christianity is trying to say that a liar and sinner, a false prophet, a dead-man god, should be called “lord”?! And that is supposed to be a GOOD thing?!

23. Christians Claim: “...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that [g]od raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:9,10)

Hmmm, who else does the New Testament call, “lord?” Why, the false god of evil, the Devil! Paul wrote that Satan is “god” of this world” in 2 Corinthians 4:4.

24. Christians Claim:  “Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him...” - Is Jesus knocking on your heart’s door? (Revelation 3:20a)

Um, NO! He’s dead, remember? All four gospels and several of the writings of the fools who believed in Jesus say so. Look at what God says about a man who dies.

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. (Psalms 146:3)

“Put no trust in princes,” (not even in the ‘prince of peace’?) “nor in the son of man” (and Jesus often called himself, ‘the son of man’) “in whom there is no help” What?! Jesus is no help with sin or salvation, or as a “Get out of hell free card”?! No, it says, “...in whom there is NO help.” “The day he dies, his thoughts perish.” So, simply by dying, we know he was useless for helping us. But don’t the Cross-kissers claim Jesus got out of his tomb? Well, yes, but there is no “evidence” for it, since the claim comes to us from the Little Book of Lies, and nowhere else―None, ZIP, Zero, Nil, Nada. But, playing the Christian game, so if he did, so what? What does that prove? Nothing! He must have been dead in order to come back from the dead, and since he was dead, we know he was not God. Since he was not God, anything he said, nor anything said in his behalf makes any difference. This is especially important, since what he said BEFORE he died, (and necessarily, before he crawled out of the grave like a zombie from Haiti) disagrees with what we have already heard from God, Himself faithfully recorded in the SOURCE DOCUMENT for over 3,315 years―Torah. If you are a Christian, you think that Jesus was “the first fruits” to ascend to heaven. Did you know it had already happened a long time before, nothing new?

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces” (2 Kings 2:11-12)

25. Christians Claim:  Ask Him to come in to your heart by faith, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Open the Bible to the Gospel of John and read what [g]od says about Jesus, about you, and about being born again.

And why John’s gospel? John’s gospel is the one most closely associated with paganism.  And it is the most anti-semitic of all the book in the Christian Bible! What value is there in THAT? It is a vile document standing in direct opposition to the Torah of God which Moses received, recorded and preserved for the Children of Israel and through them, for all mankind.

26. Christians Claim:  You need to look for a local church where Jesus’ word is preached.

False! A church and Jesus only introduces a person to plagiarized paganism―a dead-man god of no value, no use and standing in direct opposition to your Creator. Find an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi, who knows what God has said and let him teach you the Seven Universal Laws of Mankind. That’s what God said to do.

“If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the Lord thy God shall choose;  And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:   And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee: According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.  And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.” (Deut. 17:8-12)

That is known as “CYLOR”―Consult you local Orthodox Rabbi.

27. Christians Claim:  The Bible says that we are to desire [g]od’s word like a newborn baby desires mother’s milk. Aren’t you hungry to know the truth?

I have it! The truth is found in Torah! Christians have no idea of what God’s word really is. Now I do not have God’s word because I made it up, as Christianity did. I received the truth of God from His messenger, and His Servant; the Jews.

28. Christians Claim:  Water baptism is one of the ways you first show that you have been joined to Jesus. This is an action, and actions will not save you.

Nice contradiction, there. First, Christians have been forcibly converting Jews for centuries, many by forced baptism, and now you’re claiming that baptism is not going to save you?! As for actions, if they are not going to please God, then why did God demand them? By the way, Baptism is only found in the “Little Book of Lies”―the New Testament. It is not found in the SOURCE DOCUMENT, Torah!

29. Christians Claim:  However, Baptism is an act of obedience and a symbol of commitment. The symbolism is this: When you go down in the water you show that You have been crucified and buried with Him,

FALSE! And how does it do that? This reminds me of:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)

On the ranking of false prophecies this ranks up there with return “soon.”

30. Christians Claim:  And when you come up out of the water you show that you have been raised to walk with Him in newness of life. (See Romans chapter 6) You have been born again. (See John chapter 3)

Bluntly put, That’s patently stupid. How can taking a bath make you “born again?” Again, for those who may have missed it earlier, baptism is foreign to God’s SOURCE DOCUMENT, Torah.

31. Christians Claim:  Your body has become [g]od’s temple. Your heart is where He lives.

It should be that way, with our Creator, but certainly not a temple for a dead-man pagan god!

32. Christians Claim:  Forgiveness is yours in Jesus.

Why should God forgive sin, simply because you carry out another sinful act―accepting a false prophet?  Forgiveness requires repentance, not belief, and certainly not by bowing down to a dead-man god!

33. Christians Claim:  And you belong to Him.

Why would anyone WANT to belong to a dead man, a false prophet, a pagan deity?  Do we not owe our existence to our Creator?

34. Christians Claim:  You were sin’s slave.

False! You never were sin’s slave. God has given us all free will. He expects us to think for ourselves.

“As G-d created our minds, He expects us to use our reasoning together with our faith. Faith is not a substitute for reason, but a development from it and alongside it.”

35. Christians Claim:  But now... You are a child of  God!

You always were a child of God! But if you were to do this―follow “the Christian Roman Road to Salvation”―you would be a sinful child of God. It would be like slapping your Creator in the face; turning your back on Him and walking away!

2. Shmuel Golding, an ex-Baptist Minister, is now an Orthodox Jew. Regarding Christianity he says “The “PAGAN CONNECTION” is clear. The Greek Testament was fabricated OUTSIDE Israel. Has nothing in common with Judaism. Christianity is not a continuation, but a hybrid/emulsion of Judaism and paganism. Only dishonest clerics could deny it, fearing for their jobs.
