PAUL – NOT UNDER THE LAW anymore?
The
vast majority of Christianity today teaches because of Paul that the Christian
is no longer under the law (G-d’s Law), but
under a grace, which allows him to break and not keep these laws at will.
Christians claim those laws were meant for Jews, not them.
Paul wrote that people (Gentile audience) cannot
and do not follow the Law anymore – Romans
Let’s examine closely the above passage from Paul
for contradictions to what Jesus, Moses, and the Prophets taught.
Do
you believe Paul, the liar, who knows more than G-d? What did Jesus’ other
apostles have to say about keeping G-d’s Laws?
".
. . we love the children of G-d, when we love G-d, and keep his commandments.
For
this
is the love of G-d, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not
grievous." (1 John 5:2-3)
".
. . The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous
man availeth much." (James 5:16)
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his
commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight." (1 John 3:22)
These
verses, from two different apostles, show that Christianity, not Pauline
Christology, says that keeping commandments and being righteous are connected. However, the Church plays this
down and pushes Paul’s doctrines.
James
also said:
"If ye fulfill the royal law according
to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:"
(James 2:8)
Is
James telling Christians they “do well” if they fulfill and keep the law? YES! A person is good if he obeys the golden rule
as given in the Law of Moses.
So
many Christians ask Jews, “Do you literally
obey all of G-d’s laws?” First of all, and most important–not every law applies
to every Jew. For example, laws for women do not apply to men; laws of the
priests and judges do not apply to the common Jew; the laws of war do not apply
during peace, etc. It may be beyond human ability to perform all our duties to
G-d, always and perfectly.
G-d
told us in Deuteronomy that His commandments are not hard to uphold. G-d’s laws require your
effort, not perfection.
Christians
follow the church and thereby follow Paul, not the teachings of Jesus. Even
Jesus taught and knew for certain that love for G-d could only be accomplished
by adhering to a standard of righteousness (G-d’s laws) set by G-d and not by
man. The authors of the New Testament were men–the author of Torah is G-d.
Thus
the need and availability of G-d’s laws and commandments, which when
earnestly attempted to keep, produces acceptance. Remember
G-d requires our effort and not our perfection.
"But
the word of the Lord (the Law, Prophets, and Writings) endureth for ever...."
(1 Peter 1:25)
Understanding
that when Peter wrote this, Paul’s teachings were very limited in scope and
accepted by only a few. Scholars today realize that in no time during Paul’s
life did he have over 50 supporters to his message. In fact Paul would later
say; “all in
Thus
you can better understand why Paul was required to appear before James twice in
his life. Literally this was to answer charges as seen in Acts 21:21: “And they
are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the
Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their
children, neither to walk after the customs.”
Not under
the law anymore? The following
are part of TODAY’S Society Laws:
Prohibits
against the hitting of one's parents (Exodus
The
Torah teaches us not to use dishonest weights (Leviticus
If
only Christians would realize that Paul’s teachings were a bag of lies! NOT
UNDER THE LAW, HA!!! Yet these same Christians say that Jesus fulfilled the
Laws and therefore, there is no need to follow them any more. Ah, the good(?)
Church doctrines and dogmas. Christianity
is a pick and choose religion when it comes to the Laws of G-d.
